What I Found in My Dresser

A clock that said noon on the moon in June,
A dirty spoon,
A pet raccoon in a cocoon,
And a baboon in a balloon
Soon going to strum a tune!

Wii

My Wii I play on whenever I can. Sometimes I play with my whole family. I play on my Wii in my house because it is the only place to play it.

Signs of Spring

Filed under: Uncategorized —— Liberty @ 10:42 pm

Daffodils pop up.
They smell good.
Prickly grass pokes out of the ground.
The wind swirls around me.
The sun ripples on me.
Grass springs out of the ground
When it feels the heat from the hot sun.
The blue sky sings, “Glory to God!

Letter to Lewis and Clark

Filed under: Uncategorized —— Liberty @ 10:40 pm

Dear Lewis and Clark,

I like how you got back safely. Was it amazing when your dog got all those squirrel? I really like how you got to go to camps all over the West. How did you journal out in the open? Did you write with ink?

If I got asked by the President to go on a great exploration, I would have a hard time deciding where to go. I would like to explore Marioland, China, Japan, Russia, Canada, the North Pole, the South Pole, video game land, the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, the middle of the Pacific Ocean, the Arctic Ocean, Spain, England, Germany, the Indian Ocean, the Rocky Mountains, the prairie, and Alaska. That should keep me busy!

From,
Liberty

Mid Vermont’s Psalm of Praise

Filed under: Uncategorized —— Liberty @ 2:54 pm

A Mid Vermont

Psalm of Praise

written by all

of the preschoolers

through sixth graders,

along with many teachers

and parents

God is like a strong wind,

Powerful and mighty.

God is like a soft wind,

Gentle and refreshing.

God is like an eraser,

for he erases all our sins.

God is like the full moon

because He is big and bright

and directs us

through dark places.

Jesus is like stairs

because He leads us to God

from earth to Heaven.

God is a turtle shell

because He is a strong protector

and He shelters us from harm.

God is a shade

by the way He protects us

from the world

and shades us

from those who may tempt us.

God wrote His love letter to us

with a permanent marker

so that it will never go away

and it won’t come off our hearts.

God is as creative as a potter making pots.

God is the Light of the world

because He lights our path

and leads us

while we are following Him.

Yew

I am rich green.

I have thick needles.

I am prickly.

I am the dense yew.

The Glittering Things

Crytals glittering in the sky.

The shadows shining through the snow.

The sun warming

The blue sky and glittering trees.
